Living safely with infections

Guidance for students and staff on what to do if you or someone else are unwell or think they have coronavirus

The Government has removed the remaining domestic COVID-19 restrictions in England and published advice on living safely with respiratory infections including COVID-19, which includes measures such as getting vaccinated, keeping spaces well ventilated and practicing good hygiene.

Unwell? Stay at home

At UCL, your health and wellbeing are paramount, and our priority is to make sure our campus is as safe as possible and minimise the risk to everyone onsite from any type of illness.

If you do feel unwell, even if it’s ‘just’ a cold or sore throat, we strongly encourage you to stay at home if you can, to avoid passing on infection to others in the community.
