Join Head of Department Professor Steve Hailes alongside Dr Adeola Olaitan, Dr Lallita Carballo, and UCL Wellbeing for a lunchtime discussion on women's health, cancer, support services and being well at UCL.

UCL Computer Science will be hosting a health awareness event on women's health, cancer, and support services.

Speaker information:

Dr Adeola Olaitan, Honorary Associate Professor at University College London and Honorary Consultant Gynaecological Oncologist at UCLH will be speaking about:

  • General awareness of women’s cancers
  • Early signs and symptoms of cancer

Dr Lallita Carballo, Clinical Lead for Supportive Cancer Care and Head of the Macmillan Support and Information Service will be covering:

  • Support services: where to go for support and how to support family members or peers diagnosed with cancer

 Suriyah Rashid, Workplace Wellbeing Manager from UCL Workplace Health will be covering:

  •  An introduction to being well at UCL 

All UCL CS women and allies are all welcome. The event is open to all UCL CS staff, and research students. Lunch will be provided. Register for your free place now.
