BA Classics and the Ancient World
BA Classics and the Ancient World with Year Abroad
This page gives an overview of how our BA Classics and the Ancient World works, with some sample module choices. Classics and the Ancient World students choose a pathway on application; your pathways determine the subjects you can specialise in. We offer three pathways: “Classics”, “Ancient Literature, History, Archaeology”, “Ancient Middle Eastern Studies”. Students on all pathways attend a compulsory core module entitled Approaches to Studying Classics and the Ancient World.
Please Click on the links below to see module details and programme structure for each pathway. Please note that the Classics pathway requires Greek or Latin at A Levels (or equivalent).
