Overview: The Cardiovascular Research Team at Barnet Hospital has been active for 8 years and has recently partnered to support the initiation of the Stroke Team to facilitate Cardiovascular (Cardiac and Stroke trials) research access for our patients to the latest registry, drugs and device studies. Partnerships for research include the North Thames LCRN for NIHR portfolio studies, UCL partners

and the following Hospitals and Units; London Chest, Barts, Royal Free, Royal National Orthopaedic, University College (Hyper Acute Stroke Unit), Queens Square and the Heart, Royal Brompton and Harefield, the Wellington. We also associate with the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine for advanced statistics support and the AHSN and CLAHRC
