UCL-Energy's Andrew Smith features on The One Show discussing 'Kite Power'

UCL-Energy Research Associate Andrew Smith appeared on BBC's The One Show on 8 February, where he discussed some of the opportunities and the challenges of kite power, an energy alternative that uses airborne kites and wind to generate power from the tension on the tether.

Andrew further discusses why Britain is already leading the world in wind energy and how kite power may benefit other countries that don't have the same optimum off-shore environments of Britain.
