AUA CPD Framework Pilot Funded Scheme at PaLS (Psychology and Language Sciences)

The scheme will be looking at creative ways to engage and develop administrative staff in our division and identify opportunities for innovation. Moving away from traditional ways of learning, the scheme is expected to deliver:

  • Learning and Development Network events where colleagues invited from other universities will share their experiences with us;
  • Strengthening of our Support Staff Mentoring scheme;
  • Work shadowing opportunities;
  • Opportunities to use European Funding to participate in and offer study/work visits abroad.

The aims of the scheme are to:

  • Provide opportunities to staff in our division to take part in an exciting project and work in partnership with other colleagues at UCL;
  • Improve the way we achieve/share professional development and knowledge;
  • Encourage, set up and maintain links with colleagues within UCL, UK and European Universities;
  • Experience what is like to work in other part of UCL and London Universities (or beyond);
  • Improve the divisional mentoring framework to better support each other and push talents.

Please contact Cristina Gardini at c.gardini@ucl.ac.uk to find out more about the project and how you can get involved.
