About the Speakers

Desmond Hung

UCL Architecture 2006

Desmond headshot
Born in Hong Kong, Desmond left for the UK when he was 11. He read Architecture at UCL, and after completing his studies he stayed in London to begin his career and get his license, before being seconded to India.

In 2015 Desmond moved to Dubai where he spent the next four and half years before relocating back to Hong Kong to be closer to family. There, he joined a small boutique design studio before starting his own atelier in 2021.

Bowie is an artist under Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB). A participant in the 2016 Miss Hong Kong Pageant, Bowie was awarded Miss Friendship 2016 and joined the entertainment industry as an emcee host. She hosted a number of enrichment programmes and events including. “Sidewalk Scientist”, “All Things Girls”, “Weibo Starlight Awards”. Since 2018, Bowie has also acted in television dramas and web series. She is most often remembered as Yan in “The Defected”, Candice in “Kids’ Lives Matter” and Season in “OPM”. 

With an appreciation for beauty and fashion, Bowie initiated an interest in fashion styling. She is known for styling the “First Live On Stage” concert for 15 Star Academy members.
