8. Roles and responsibilities 

Individual members of staff are responsible for ensuring that digital content that they create and share in the course of their employment is accessible in accordance with the policy statements in sections 2 to 5. 

The budget holder is accountable, and product owners or project managers are responsible for the procurement of digital products, services, and platforms (section 6).  

The Chief Information Officer (CIO) is accountable, and product owners or project managers are responsible for the development of digital products, services, and platforms (section 7).
