About this Event
Are you passionate about issues of human rights? Did you go to law school to learn how to use the law to help ordinary people, rather than corporate needs, but don't know how to turn these interests into a job? Well you've come to the right place!
The inaugural CAJ applications workshop will give you the opportunity to meet and talk to multiple lawyers, both qualified and en route to qualification, about how they turned their dreams of working in public-interest law into a reality. Speakers will include barristers and pupil barristers, trainee and newly qualified solicitors, in addition to legal practitioners working in NGOs and lawyers who qualified through other means, such as CILEX. Whether you're interested in working as a paralegal, legal executive, solicitor or barrister this is the workshop for you!
This talk is open to both UCL non-law students and law students alike. As a workshop tickets are strictly limited, so make sure to book yours now!
Please note the room location for the workshop has changed - the event will now be taking place in the Garden Room.
