Air Travel

The nearest international airport to Hinxton Hall is Stansted Airport (http://www.baa.co.uk/main/airports/stansted/) which has regular flights to many European destinations. Flights operated by Ryanair (http://www.ryanair.com/) can be obtained at exceptionally low cost, though those considering this option should book early to secure the best prices. Once at Stansted airport attendees should take the short train journey to Cambridge.

Those arriving at other London airports should make their way to central London and take the mainline train from King’s Cross Station to Cambridge.

Local Transportation

From 10.00 to 19.00 on the first day of the meeting shuttle buses will operate between Cambridge railway station, Hinxton Hall and Homerton College. Those residing at Homerton College should go there first to check in, and then take the shuttle bus to Hinxton Hall for registration. ECS representatives will be on site at all locations to assist with directions. Following the opening lecture and welcome party, buses will return attendees to Homerton college.

Those arriving outside the shuttle bus times on the first day of the meeting should take a taxi from Cambridge station to Homerton College.

During the conference buses will run between Homerton and Hinxton each morning and evening, departing Homerton at 8.00 and returning each day at 19.00. Alterations to this schedule on the evening of the conference banquet will be notified during the meeting.
