European
Calcium Society Meetings
|
The
European Calcium Society organises biennial meetings in Europe, that
provide a high quality international forum to meet the needs of calcium
researchers. In 2004 the meeting will be held in the UK, at Hinxton
Hall, Cambridge, from 28 31 July.
The scientific programme begins Wednesday 28 July at 19.00 and concludes
Saturday 31 July at 18.15. All Scientific Sessions, registration,
sponsors exhibition and lunches will take place at the Conference
Centre.
Registration
fee
The
fee includes attendance to all scientific sessions, the abstract book,
welcome party, tea and coffee breaks, lunch (on July 29, 30 and 31)
and the Symposium Banquet on Friday 30 July.
Conference
language
The official language of the symposium will be English. No simultaneous
translation will be provided.
Technical
support
Slide projection, overhead projection and digital projectors will be
available. Speakers are strongly encouraged to use Powerpoint.
Registration
form
Participants
are requested to use the on-line registration and payment form.
Note that payment is by Credit Card ONLY. The ECS cannot accept cheques
or bank transfers.
Confirmation
Participants
who have registered and paid fees will receive confirmation by e-mail
only. You must print out this e-mailed confirmation and present
it at the meeting desk in order to receive the abstract book and name
badge. Any participants who do not receive an e-mailed confirmation
letter must present proof of payment at the meeting desk. Your name
badge must be worn at all times to gain access to the scientific sessions
and dining areas.
Cancellation
Written
notice of cancellation must be sent to the Conference Organiser. For
cancellation before 1st May 2004, 75% of the registration fee will be
refunded. No refunds will be made after this date.

desk
The
meeting desk will be located at the entrance to the Hinxton Hall conference
centre, and will be open at the following times:

Attire
The
weather in the UK is famously unpredictable and at the end of July temperatures
can be anywhere between 18 and 33 Celsius. Summer clothing is advised,
but dont forget an umbrella or waterproof jacket.
