UCL's annual Study Abroad Fair is aimed at all undergraduate students who are taking part in, or are considering taking part in, the study abroad programme at UCL. Although the information is primarily aimed at students on non-language degrees, students from SELCS, SSEES, BASc and ESPS are welcome to attend and there are representatives from departments availble to take questions.

Attending the fair is a chance to:

  • View information about UCL's partner universities
  • Speak to UCL students who have recently returned from a period of study abroad about their experiences
  • Meet exchange students from our partner institutions who are currently studying at UCL
  • Find out more about the Erasmus programme and talk to other students who have taken part in the programme
  • Talk to representatives from external companies who work to support study abroad students.

Registration for the 2014 Study Abroad Fair will be available on this page in October 2014.

The Study Abroad Team will this year be running a specially tailored Careers Workshop for Study Abroad Students, open to all students who have completed a period of study abroad. The purpose of the session is to help students to translate the experiences they have had on their year abroad into useful practical skills which can be added to their CV and used in interview situations.

The session will be run as a collaboration between the UCL Study Abroad Team and the UCL Careers Service.

Invitations to register for the session will be sent out to eligible students in late September. Students will have a choice of two dates, and places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
