Update: Information for Erasmus+ students following referendum results

Following the result of the EU referendum, we understand that many of you will be concerned about the status of your Erasmus+ placement, either currently or in the upcoming academic year. Until such time as the UK formally ceases to be a member of the EU, your immigration status has not changed, and you continue to be eligible for their Erasmus grant until at least as long as we remain a member of the EU and could well be extended beyond this.

On behalf of UK universities, UUK is liaising with the British Council for further clarity on their position.

Until such time as a statement is made by the European Commission on the future of the UK in the Erasmus+ Programme, our position remains unchanged. Eligibility for Erasmus+ grants for 2016/17 remains the same, unless otherwise stated by the European Commission. We will communicate to you any updates that apply to you.

Erasmus Grant

Your Erasmus grant for your 2016/17 study abroad placement remains in place, unless otherwise stated by the European Commission. Until the European Commission release a statement, we cannot provide any more details. We will communicate to you any updates that apply to you.

Students currently abroad

Students who are currently abroad should make sure to check their UCL Email regularly for communications from us and their department.
