Part of On the Western Window Pane project at Van Gogh House

On the Western Window Pane, an online and window-based project by Van Gogh House runs from 1 April 2021 - 31 March 2022. This year-long fundraising project presents 12 artist-designed posters in its front, west-facing window organised by Livia Wang and alumnus Benjamin Arthur Brown.

Each month one new poster will be revealed and available to purchase as a limited edition print. All funds raised will go towards the artists involved and our residencies, education projects, exhibitions and maintaining the house’s historic fabric. April's poster, 'Vessel Head (Van Gogh)', has been designed by Slade lecturer Brighid Lowe.

Karin Ruggaber is speaking at the Roundtable Discussion Fabrication as a Career online via the Henry Moore Institute and Pangaea Sculptor Centre on Wednesday 21 April 2021 at 6pm.

Professor Karin Ruggaber (UCL), artist Simeon Barclay and fabricators Rui Pignatelli (Pangaea Sculptors’ Centre) and Nigel Schofield (MDM Props) will discuss the professional relationship between sculpture and fabrication. The speakers will explore issues regarding the teaching of fabrication in art schools, access to fabrication facilities and how knowledge of fabrication may inform sculptural practice. This will be followed by discussion and questions from the audience.
