REEF - Simon Faithfull
Simon Faithfull is sinking a 15 meter boat, The Brioney Victoria, to create an artificial reef off the coast of Portland. The event is being filmed and broadcast live on the 4 or 5 August 2014 (depending on the weather) on reef.launchrock.com.
The project has been commissioned for the Brighton Photo Biennial 2014 and is showing from 4 October - 23 November 2014. See fabrica.org.uk.
The installation is also as part of Simon Faithfull, a solo exhibition at FRAC, Basse Normandy, Caen, France from November 2014 - January 2015 and at the Musée des Beaux-Arts in Calais, France. See timeandplaceproject.wordpress.com

It offers a unique opportunity to purchase original new work from both internationally acclaimed and emerging artists and raise scholarship funds for Slade students.
