WHY I APPLIED TO THE SECURITY SCIENCE DTC
I have always had an interest in security. Initially, this led me to Mathematics where I was particularly interested in Cryptography, but a fondness of programming led me to a Masters in Computer Science. The security and crime science doctorial training centre at UCL allows me to learn about the general principles of crime science before going into specific research. It introduces me to important terminology and concepts.

WHAT I DO WHEN I'M NOT STUDYING
I play the violin in several orchestras and enjoy singing. I am an advocate of commuting by bicycle and like swimming.
MY CAREER ASPIRATIONS
My future plans will have yet to be determined. I enjoy university life and research, but I can also see myself joining a company.
WHAT KIND OF PARTNER ORGANISATION I'D LIKE TO WORK WITH AND WHAT I'D LIKE FROM THEM
As I don't yet know my exact research thesis, it is difficult to say - large, possibly multi-national IT related companies would be ideal.
