Extra study spaces with Pop-Up Libraries and 24/7 library opening

The two Pop-Up Libraries - located in the Main Quad and the South Quad (beside the Print Room Café) - are reserved exclusively for study, giving you access to additional study spaces from 5 April 2018 until near the end of the main exam period. The spaces are open from 9am to 9pm, Monday to Friday, and managed by UCL Library Services staff.

Sarah Al-Aride, Education Officer, Students' Union UCL, said: "I am very pleased that students will be able to access the pop-ups, which are located close to our two busiest libraries, Main and Science. I am working with UCL Estates and UCL Library Services to ensure these spaces are suitable and comfortable for students during the revision period."

24/7 library opening

The Lower Refectory will remain open as a learning space twenty four hours a day, seven days a week over the same period. This will provide another 300 spaces and will be managed by UCL Security from 9pm to 7am each weekday and from 9pm Friday until 7am Monday.

The UCL Main and Science libraries, the Cruciform Hub and the UCL School of Slavonic and East European Studies Library will be extending their opening hours over weekends, so that you can use the study spaces all day, every day. These extended opening hours will be in place until Friday 8 June 2018, including the May Bank Holidays. 

Additionally, for the first time the UCL Institute of Education Library will be open twenty four hours during the week, opening at 8.30am on Mondays and closing at 8.30pm on Saturdays. On Sundays, the library will be open 9.30am - 8.30pm.
