Catherine Purkiss
Biography
Catherine Purkiss , barrister, is a part time Teaching Fellow in the department. She teaches the Law For Managers course module. Having qualified as a barrister in 1991
in the chambers of Baroness Lady Helena Kennedy QC, she specialised in
employment and discrimination law. She
has taught at undergraduate, postgraduate and professional levels for 17 years,

Teaching
Catherine teaches Law For Managers. This is an
introductory course for non-lawyers, aiming to equip students with a
rudimentary understanding of various areas of law, including contract,
employment, intellectual and property law and how various kinds of business
