UCL Medical School Hubs

We’re very pleased to announce that the first stage of a major estates upgrade for UCL Medical School is now underway.   The upgrade is designed to develop Student HUBS and enhanced teaching space at each of our 3 main campuses.   Plans and progress will be published on the UCLMS website as the projects develop at each site.

NHS Change Day: do something better together

NHS Change Day will take place on 13.03.13.  It will be one day during which the collective energy, creativity and ideas of thousands of NHS staff, and those who support the NHS, in all areas of work and right across the country, will demonstrate how one simple action or new idea can make a difference and improve care for patients, their families and their carers. Integrated BSC for Medical Students

The Medical School offers a wide range of 1 year integrated BSc programmes. UCL medical students, except those who are already UK graduates, are required to take an integrated BSc as a compulsory part of their 6 year MBBS programme after completion of Year 2 of the MBBS. More information...


IBSC's for Medical Students:

The multifaculty, multidisciplinary structure of UCL means that we are in a strong position to offer a wide range of degree programmes of a high academic standing. Detailed information about Integrated BSc programmes is given to students during the second year.

There is an application process, which is competitive and, although the vast majority of students are accepted for the programme of their first or second choice, acceptance on a given programme cannot be guaranteed.

External Applications (Students outside UCL)
Unfortunately UCL can no longer accept applications from students outside of UCL for entry to the IBSc year.

Applications for 2013-2014 will only be accepted if you are a UCL MBBS student.

We currently offer the following IBSc Programmes to UCL students: Please follow the links to go to the departmental web pages. Course descriptions are outlined in the IBSc Booklet.

The IBSc Fair

The next IBSc fair will be held in on the 16th January 2013 in the North and South Cloisters 2.30pm

Please note: UCL will not be accepting applications from external students and therefore the IBSc fair is an event for UCL students only.

Additional talks will be running along side the fair these details will be emailed to students.
