About UCL Medical School
Welcome to UCL Medical School
From the Director of UCL Medical School
The MBBS curriculum at UCL aims to produce the very highest quality doctors well prepared for practice in the twenty-first century. The programme is designed to maximise the advantages of training at one of the UK’s Academic Health Science Centres, and to ensure you have the capabilities, commitment and orientation to be a UCL Doctor: a highly competent and scientifically literate clinician, equipped to practise person-centred medicine in a constantly changing modern world, with a foundation in the basic medical and social science.
We are proud of our MBBS programme at UCL and are keen to attract those with a genuine desire to excel as a doctor and make a real difference to patients.
The pace of medical research and our growing ability to treat and prevent many more diseases means that there has never been a more exciting time to enter medicine. We value your application to join us to share that excitement.
