1. Congratulations to Karen Page who has been promoted to Professor of Mathematical Biology and Christina Pagel (CORU) who has been promoted to Reader of Operational Research.

2. Congratulations to Sarah Zerbes who has been awarded a LMS Whitehead Prize joint with David Loeffler for their work on number theory.

Sarah joins a distinguished group of mathematicians who have won this prize, including several UCL mathematicians past and present.

3. Congratulations to Thomas Evans, Jamil Nadim and Yoshi Hashimoto for recent successful completion of their PhD vivas. Thomas' thesis is titled 'Perspectives on the relationship between local interactions and global outcomes in spatially explicit models of systems of interacting individuals' and he was supervised by Steven Bishop. Jamil's thesis is titled 'A periodic monogenic resolution' and he was supervised by Frank Johnson. Yoshi's thesis is titled 'Some results on stability and canonical metrics in Kähler geometry' and he was supervised by Jason Lotay and Michael Singer.
