I am a member of staff or student at UCL, and I have a project in mind that I’d like to work with you on – who should I contact?

We recommend contacting the Subject Liaison Librarian or Site Librarian supporting your department to discuss your project. Our Find your librarian page will help you discover who your librarian or library team are.

I would really like to diversify my reading list – is there any help available for that?

Yes, see our Liberating the Curriculum guide for reading lists, which has been created to assist teaching staff. It is a work in progress so is updated regularly. Suggestions for improvement are welcome. You might also find our Black Studies guide useful, which focuses on interdisciplinary sources originating from authors / creators of African and African-Caribbean descent, with additional reference to topics relevant to the Black Diaspora.

How can I suggest the purchase of books or other resources that support Liberating the Collections?

We welcome suggestions for resources that contribute to greater inclusivity in our collections. You can submit these through our suggest a purchase form.

Who do I contact if I have questions about the accessibility of your collections?

If you have questions about accessibility of our library buildings or services, our accessibility page provides more information and contact details for the Library Accessibility Team. We also provide information on our website about e-books and assistive technology.
