Biography

Daughter of John Haughton James senior. Bequeathed £5000 in the will of her father chargeable on Burnt Ground pen and other Jamaican property belonging to him.

Born in Jamaica in 1791. Married Samuel Morris Esquire in St James, Jamaica, 09/04/1813.

Widowed, age 57 and a lodger at 119 Vine Street, Liverpool, at the house of Edward hockley, a mariner, in 1851.

Living in the household of one of her grandchildren at Evans Place, Oxton in Cheshire in 1861.

Died at Nassau House, Oxton, near Birkenhead, 03/09/1870. Effects under £450. Will proved by Mary Halton Nosworthy of the same address, grand-daughter and sole executrix.
