Daughter of Col. Montague James and his second wife Mary nee Haughton. Born 20/05/1759 in Jamaica. Married to Edmund Jackson. Their marriage is recorded 23/04/1775 in Edinburgh when he was a merchant of London, now in the parish of New Church, and she was a spinster of the same parish. Their marriage is also recorded as taking place 04/08/1777 in St James, Jamaica.
