Adobe licensing

Adobe Licensing is now a subscription model and in this page we will explain how it works.

New Licensing

The way of licensing Adobe, is by a yearly subscription model called Creative Cloud for Education. Which will give you access to the latest updates at no extra cost for the year.

You have two options when purchasing this license either by Device or Named-User licensing.

  • A Named user licence will allow the named user to install the software on up to 2 devices as long as they are the primary user of both machines and that they are not used concurrently.
  • A Device licence is for one machine only but can be used by multiple users on that one machine.

Products available for the new Creative cloud licensing are:

Creative Cloud Complete which includes

Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Acrobat XI Pro, Muse, Audition, bridge, Edge, Encore, Fireworks, Flash, InCopy, Lightroom, Media Encoder, Preluide, SpeedGrade.

Individual Apps are:

Audition, Muse, After Effects, Dreamweaver, Edge Animate, Edge Inspect, Flash Pro, Illustrator, InCopy, InDesign, Photoshop, Prelude, Premiere Pro, SpeedGrade

If you need to purchase more than one individual app for the device or user we recommend you purchase the creative cloud complete licence.
