The eMC is continuously updated with new and revised SPC and PIL information which, after approval by the licensing authorities, is submitted directly by pharmaceutical companies.

All the clinical guidance is produced in patient friendly versions called 'Understanding Nice Guidance'.  You can keep up to date with the latest news from NICE by subscribing to the monthly electronic newsletter.

NHS Choices NHS Choices is a service that aims to put you at the centre of your healthcare.  It’s been developed to help you make choices about your health, from lifestyle decisions about things like smoking, drinking and exercise, through to the practical aspects of finding and using NHS services should you need them.  Enter your postcode to find local health services such as GPs, dentists, opticians, chemists and minor injuries units. You will also be able to view local hospitals, the services they offer and how they rate.  If you want to find and compare hospitals offering a specific treatment, use the Health A-Z.
