When you have decided that you would like to take part in this project, you will be guided through the following three stages:

1

Completing questionnaires

To find out whether these resources will be useful for you, you will be asked to complete a few questionnaires about how you are feeling and return these to us.

These questionnaires will take up to 20 minutes to complete.

2

Taking part in the programme

You will use some "self-help" resources based on cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) strategies. These go through strategies that research has shown to be helpful in reducing symptoms of low mood and distress in young people.

We will ask you to send any completed worksheets back to us so that we can develop the resources further.

A mentor will be available to help you with the resources if you would like. This can be done over the phone, email or Skype.

We will keep a record of the contact you have with mentors to make sure that everyone is receiving the same level of support. These are just for us and will be kept confidential.

Tell us what you think

We want to hear about your experience of taking part in our project, so that we can improve the programme for others. We are interested in what you thought went well as well as anything we could be doing better. This will help us make changes and improve to ensure we are doing things in the best way for the young people and families we are working with.

We will ask you to complete a feedback form after each module. We will also like to ask you about how you found using the website. You don't have to speak to us if you don't want to.
