About UCL Events

UCL hosts an exciting programme of events including academic lectures, seminars, workshops, festivals, activities and performances, exhibitions, and open days. The majority of our events are open to UCL students, staff, alumni and the general public. Most events are free unless otherwise stated and some may require registration in advance.
Upcoming events are featured on the UCL Minds events calendar and you can sign up to receive our UCL Minds e-newsletter. In addition to this there are a large number of events taking place at UCL hosted by faculties, departments, centres and institutes. Please check individual event webpages for further information.

For event queries please contact the event organiser listed on the event webpage.

Admittance Policy

Content Admittance to any UCL event is at the discretion of the event organisers.
Admittance to lecture theatres is strictly subject to seating capacity. Standing is not permitted.
Please arrive in good time for the start of the event, latecomers may not be admitted.
Guide dogs are welcome in all UCL venues, but no pets are allowed.

Door Opening Times

We recommend that you arrive at least 15 minutes before the event is scheduled to start. Tickets do not guarantee entry to the venue as entry is on a first come, first served basis for ticketholders.

Press

If you are a member of the press and would like to attend one of our events please contact the event organiser listed on the event webpage.

Security

Unless otherwise stated, audience members are allowed to bring bags into UCL events, but we reserve the right to make a search of bags a condition of entry to UCL venues. Most UCL venues do not have a cloakroom so attendees are discouraged from bringing large bags or luggage with them.

Filming

It is our normal practice to record lectures as podcasts and videos and make them publicly available after the event. Audience members with questions relating to audience inclusion in recordings should contact the listed event organiser in advance.

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted in any venues on the UCL campus.
