Summer School for prospective MSc students, 10-11 June 2014


What is it?

This exciting FREE* course offers the chance to learn from leading authorities in Energy and Process Engineering at the research powerhouse of UCL, in the heart of London.

Students will expand their knowledge of Chemical Engineering, get a unique insight into post-graduate study at one of the world’s leading Universities, and find out if Chemical Engineering MSc is right for them.

What does it involve?

The two-day summer school will give the prospective students opportunity to learn more about the programme and courses in MSc Chemical Process Engineering and get hands-on experience in:
- Emerging energy technologies
- Process systems engineering and simulation
- Hazard identification, quantification and mitigation

The Summer School is run in conjunction with UCL's Graduate Support Bursary Sheme, which is available to students with "Home" tuition fee status from under-represented groups. The five MSc Chemical Process Engineering bursaries include a full fee waiver, a living allowance of £10,000 and childcare support. Prospective students who meet the entry requirements for their Degree, but not for the Bursary, are also welcome to participate in Summer School.
