6. Fashion

Fashion is the same as in England other than the traditional Chinese clothes some people were wearing. Shops sell all the same clothes you can get in England.

Their clothes are great but they are all too small!
- There are some beautiful ethnic clothes.

I love the stores selling Chinese vintage clothes - must look for a Mao suit!

Designer labels at a tenth of the UK price – fantastic!

The women either seem to be very well dressed - very very well dressed quite often, almost iconic.

They seemed to frown at me when I wore a short skirt.

Why is it so difficult to find silk in Kunming?

The hair fashions seem to be to bleach their hair and make it curly. We even saw some Chinese people with ‘Afro’ haircuts.
