♦ Works as a TA for the module: COMP3005 Operating Systems
- This is a course with a strong practical element whose primary goal is to develop an understanding of the operation of operating systems, building on and showing the utility of basic material covered in previous courses, including data structures and algorithms, concurrency, and networks. Since most practical operating systems are written in C-based languages, this course will use C. We expect those taking the course to be capable C programmers. Students are expected to deepen their knowledge in C programming through practice; developing confidence in low level programming is a secondary aim of the module.
