Notes here are intended to reinforce, not replace, the content of lectures


  As I have now retired from UCL and no longer have space on the group web server most of these files are not available on-line. I can supply copies by e-mail.

If you would rather have copies of the notes to print out, you may find the PDF or PostScript versions more useful. You should be able to print them at ISD clusters. Please note that some Internet browsers are not very good at representing subscripts and superscripts in these documents: in dubious cases, the PDF or PostScript version should be relied upon. The PDF and PostScript versions are accessed by opening the browsable versions and clicking on a link on the first page. You can view these on screen if your Internet browser is set up to associate

(see under Available Software on ISD cluster machines).

Alternatively, you could save the .PS files in your own filespace and use a DOS window to PRINT them directly to a PostScript printer (the printers on ISD clusters are suitable).
