Groundwork are working in Partnership with UCL to investigate self evaluation processes of open space regeneration projects. The findings from this investigation will be used to encouraging practitioners and community groups to use self evaluation as a tool for learning from, and developing future projects. This will be achieved through:

- evaluating past, present, and ongoing projects

- testing a range of participatory monitoring and evaluation techniques

- sharing any lessons learned through organised workshops

- development of an e-leaning tool

The aim of this project is to devise an effective way for Groundwork to evaluate their projects. It is deemed that through improving Groundworks evaluation systems, in turn their projects will be more sustainable.

The objectives of this project are:

- to make evaluation easier and more accessible

- to share knowledge and best practice with other organisations

- to incorporate new methods into evaluation process
