Cliodhna Timoney (b.1993, IRE) works across sculpture, imagery, video and sound to investigate various subjects such as place, memory, folklore, rural and vernacular culture and the nonhuman.
In recent works, Timoney considers specific sites of interest such as the dancefloors of rural nightclubs, the backroads of the Northwest of Ireland and farmyards of Ulster as stages and meditates on their potential to enact intimacy, escapism, excess or destruction.
