Georgie Huxley – BA/BFA

My paintings are an exploration of the liminal spaces, where the tension between forces creates a palpable energy that hums just below the surface. Whether it’s between a calf and its mother, two lovers or a golf club and ball, I’m fascinated by the tension that underscores most of our everyday interactions. Through paint, I aim to create a sense of vulnerability and rawness that is often hidden in everyday life. Striving to create a visual language that transcends the mundane, I’m offering a glimpse into the vastness of the human experience.
