Description
During this week's session, you will work in groups of 4 using your knowledge of year 1 learners' literature to plan a day's activities for children to celebrate World Book Day. You will then present your plan of activities to the whole group, with resources, referencing using Harvard style.

The aim of the session is for Access to Education and Training learners to investigate the ways that events such as World Book Day could be used as a stimulus for creating learning activities to support and extend Year 1 learners' engagement with literature.
