Description
On this lesson students Brainstorm what they know about the threats on the Internet. We will be talking about sharing our personal information on social networks and youth desire to publish the pictures in social network. Students will vote on a poll and we will discuss how to express oneself using profile pictures. After watching the video and they will play a game "My profile picture and me", discuss the same questions and will create a “group selfie” on the Padlet.
Aims
1. Be aware of online relationships and sexting. 2. Understanding the self-expression with profile pictures. 3. Be sensible with general online safety issues.

Talking about (nude) Pictures on the Web

    Discuss with the children/youths: -What was your last picture, you have put online? -Have you ever deliberately put online an embarrassing photo of someone you dislike? -Do you know someone who was ever asked for nude photos on the internet? Did your friend met this person face to face before or was s/he a new person on the internet? -Where do you watch funny or embarrassing photos or videos of other people? Do you think the others know that the images / videos are on the internet? What do you think, do they like it, that there are embarrassing photos or videos of them on the internet? -Did your boyfriend / your girlfriend ever asked you to undress in front of the webcam or did s/he take nude photos? What could happen to these photos/videos?

They discuss the statements about the persons’ self-perception and their outer perception following these questions: - To what extend do the statements about the outer perception that you matched with the profile pictures match the persons’ self-perception? - Which reasons can you name for possible differences?
