London printer and publisher, and MP for Malmesbury (1774-1780) and Wootton Bassett (1780-1784). He was trustee of the marriage settlement of James Cave of Woodford and his wife Mary formerly Mary Hurt (nee Hooper) in 1753 under which Mary Hurt's 3/6th's share of the estate [and enslaved people] of Frances Bladen on Nevis was placed in trust to pay the rents and profits to such person as Mary Cave might direct for her life.
