Biography

Planter of St Andrew, died c. 1711. Tentatively identified as the William Reeves who owned a plot of land on the east side of Orange Street in Kingston in 1702.

William Reeves of St Andrew, planter. Estate probated in Jamaica in 1711. Slave-ownership at probate: 11 of whom 5 were listed as male and 6 as female. 3 were listed as boys, girls or children. Total value of estate at probate: £235.75 Jamaican currency of which £208 currency was the value of enslaved people. Estate valuation included £0 currency cash, £0 currency debts and £1.25 currency plate.
