Possibly the Robert Buckingham who was vestryman in Port Royal in 1724.
Robert Buckingham of Port Royal. Estate probated in Jamaica in 1744. Slave-ownership at probate: 31 of whom 24 were listed as male and 7 as female. 6 were listed as boys, girls or children. Total value of estate at probate: £1918.42 Jamaican currency of which £846 currency was the value of enslaved people. Estate valuation included £522.18 currency cash, £293.75 currency debts and £35 currency plate.

Member of the Baillie of Dochfour family who had numerous mercantile connections in the West Indies. The compensation for Baillie's Bacolet in Grenada was awarded to the trustees of her marriage settlement. Grand-daughter of Colin Roy Campbell of Glenmure. Apparently a victim of the quack doctor John St John Lang of Harley Street in 1830.
