  1. Thomas Barrett of St Thomas-in-the-Vale. Estate probated in Jamaica in 1675. Slave-ownership at probate: 1 of whom 0 were listed as male and 1 as female. 0 were listed as boys, girls or children. Total value of estate at probate: £472.28 Jamaican currency of which £28 currency was the value of enslaved people. Estate valuation included £80 currency cash, £201.4 currency debts and £15.5 currency plate.

  2. Probably the Thomas Barrett who wrote a letter to James Littleton on 07/10/1672 "from his house in Wharf Side, Port Royal", "perhaps a brother or other relative of old Hercie [Barrett, d. 1685]" describing conditions in the town.
