The will of Daniel Garrigues, planter of St Catherine, was proved in Jamaica, 27/05/1773. In it, he bequeathed a plot of land, an enslaved person and his pen in St Catherine to a "free mulatto" named Ann Lowe. Thereafter his pen was to go to Lowe's son John Francis Garrigues. To his "mulatto" children Molly, Nancy and Jenny, he bequeathed 30 acres of land.
