To his housekeeper Katharine Righam, a "mulatto woman" who had lived with him many years "but has now fallen into such a state of depravation of judgment as to be incapable to provide for herself" he ordered she was to be maintained from his estate, and be lodged in his house, given 3 enslaved people and provisions.
