Purchased an enslaved man, Phil Jack, from Henry Olton and registered him in St Thomas in 1826, St James in 1829. He purchased another man, William, after 1826 but William had died by the time of the next registration. Still listed as owning Phil Jack in 1834.
Baptised as an adult in St Thomas, 26/02/1826, son of Delia Bellamy, at the same time as his brother George Gultsone Bellamy. Possibly with the occupation tailor (parent's occupation given as tailor tenant but the first part may apply to Henry himself). Free person of colour.
Possibly the Henry I. Bellamy awarded compensation for 1 enslaved person in Barbados.
