A 'planter' on Tobago c. 1781 who has an entry in the ODNB as 'military engineer and artist.' While in Tobago he had a natural son called Charly Stewart. To date his slave-ownership in Tobago has not been traced by LBS, although he reportedly had 'land and slaves' there.
