John Cavalier of Kingston, Esquire. Estate probated in Jamaica in 1736. Slave-ownership at probate: 173 of whom 97 were listed as male and 76 as female. 0 were listed as boys, girls or children. Total value of estate at probate: £9275.95 Jamaican currency of which £4020 currency was the value of enslaved people. Estate valuation included £0 currency cash, £2769.04 currency debts and £151.63 currency plate.

The estate of John Cavalier was listed in the Jamaican Quit Rent books for 1754 as the owner of 1648 acres of land in St Andrew.

The will of John Cavalier was proved in Jamaica in 1735.

This is possibly the John Cavalier who was Member of Assembly for St Mary in 1722 and/or the John Cavelier who was a merchant in Kingston in 1728.
