John Bourryau Esq. is listed as the owner of Upper Bourryau in the 1822 Slave Registration and of both the upper and lower estates, which are listed separately, on an 1828 map of St. Kitts, the entry for which latter also notes that he is deceased by this date. No John Bourryau has been traced to date alive in this period: conceivably it refers to John Bourryau of Greanda who died 50 yeas before.
