Almost certainly the original grantee of the Auchenskeoch estate in Tobago with Robert Young of Auchenskeoch under St Andrew nos. 12-14 (Robert Young) and nos. 15-16 ('Will. Young'). Tentative identification at present also of 'Will. Young' the original grantee of Hope under St George no. 1 (with Alex. Stevenson under St George nos. 7 & 8) as William Young of Auchenskeoch. There is scope for confusion with other grants to 'Wm Young' and with Sir William Young 1st bart.
