Both the National Maritime Museum and the Science Museum have mezzotints of this picture.

A proof before letters was advertised by Grosvenor Prints: 'Image 647 x 381mm. 25½ x 15". Queen Victoria's collector's stamp in lower right. Trimmed inside the plate. Portrait; full-length seated slightly to right, head tilted slightly to left and looking towards the viewer, elbows on the arms of his chair, wearing a dark suit and white frill; globe to left, table with books and a large scroll with a plan, to left; view beyond a column and parapet on the right, of a busy harbour.
