T71/882: claim by Walter Maynard Pemberton, tenant in possession in right of his wife Ann Prentis Pemberton. 'Memoranda endorsed on power of attorney attesting the acknowledgement of the signatures of Walter Maynard Pemberton and wife, and that the wife had been separately examined'.

T71/368 p. 179: enslaved persons registered by Walter Maynard Pemberton in 1831.

Times 13/10/1836 p. 6: the loss of the ship Clarendon, pax included 'a gentleman named Pemberton, a planter, who was returning to Europe for the benefit of his health, and his daughter, 12 years of age, a Creole, coming to England for her education.'
